We have a range of student leadership opportunities available to students at all year levels. We encourage students to take up the challenge of being a leader in formal and informal positions.
The roles of the Head Students include representing the school at public events, running school assemblies, supporting our school charity, chairing the fortnightly Executive Council meetings, student representative on the Parents鈥 Association 鈥 dealing with dances, balls and the leavers鈥 function, as well as running assemblies and being on the Prefects Panel.
The Head Students play important roles within the school as role models by being active, present and enthusiastic about all aspects of student life. They also support each other, and ensure they help create the best possible school environment.
As part of our formal leadership process our Year 13 students can be selected to be members of our Students Executive or a member of our Student 颁辞尘尘颈迟迟别别/碍艒尘颈迟颈.
Each 颁辞尘尘颈迟迟别别/碍艒尘颈迟颈 has a staff member who acts as their mentor and support them through the year.

Te Ranga M膩reikura provides leadership for all 惭腻辞谤颈 students at WGC, represents 惭腻辞谤颈 as a Te Tiriti o Waitangi partner on the Student Executive Committee and supports the school to promote 惭腻辞谤颈 language and culture.
Membership of Te Ranga M膩reikura is open to Year 12 惭腻辞谤颈 students who will be in Year 13 in the following year. The members will be voted for by all 惭腻辞谤颈 students (Year 9-13) at 秀色直播 Girls’ College.
Fala Pasifika provides leadership for all Pacific students at WGC, represents Pacific People on the Student Executive Committee and supports the school to promote Pacific languages and cultures.
Membership of Fala Pasifika is open to Year 12 Pacific students who will be in Year 13 in the following year. The members will be voted for by all Pacific students (Year 9 – 13) at 秀色直播 Girls’ College.
The most important aspect of this committee is to support the communication of student information in the school in a variety of ways. Supporting the school by creating posters and online reminders to support the schools vision and values, messages and rules.

The most important aspect of this committee is to foster and promote student voice within the school and action appropriate needs and wants of the students. They oversee the election process for a Student Council and support the students throughout the year.
