CHHS programs ranked among the nation’s best by U.S. News and World Report
U.S. News and World Report recently released the annual rankings of the best graduate schools, and once again, programs from NAU’s College of Health and Human Services are recognized among the nation’s best.
NAU’s Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language pathology programs all earned top-ranking spots, with Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, and Physical Therapy programs maintaining their status as the best in Arizona.
NAU Physician Assistant studies continues to stand out nationally, sharing its 26th spot on the list with the University of Southern California. With a strong emphasis on serving rural and underserved communities, the program is committed to addressing provider shortages and improving access to care across the state.
NAU’s Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy programs continue to lead in Arizona, with the Physical Therapy program earning a spot in the top 50 programs nationally. Offering degrees in hybrid and traditional formats, both programs provide immersive clinical experiences, with a focus on community-based care. Graduates of these programs are prepared to serve the diverse needs of their communities.
