You are eligible for this merit scholarship if you are attending Kansai Gaidai University for a semester or full year program on ISEP Direct, have maintained a 3.0 in the two semesters leading up to the program and through each semester of the program.

United States-Japan Bridging Foundation’s Bridging scholarship Accordion Closed
The Bridging Project offers scholarships to American undergraduate students participating in study-abroad programs in Japan. Undergraduate students majoring in any field of study are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Japanese language study is not a prerequisite. Terms of study must be a minimum of 3 months long.

Toshizo Watanabe​ Study Abroad Scholarship Program Accordion Closed
The Toshizo Watanabe Endowed Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students for a semester or year-long study abroad program in either the United States or Japan. A generous endowment gift of $10 million from Mr. Toshizo (Tom) Watanabe to the U.S.-Japan Council makes it possible to award scholarships to students for whom study abroad would not be possible without financial support.

Fulbright UK Summer Institutes Accordion Closed
These are 3-4 week programs for U.S. undergraduate students. Participants can explore the culture, heritage, and history of the United Kingdom while experiencing higher education at a UK university. The scholarship includes return U.S.-U.K. airfare, tuition and fees at the host university, accommodation, and in some cases a small daily allowance for meals. Eligibility includes being a US citizen, minimum GPA of 3.7, have at least 2 years of undergraduate study remaining after finishing the program, and more.

University of Jaén (Spain) Accordion Closed
One student mobility grant to University of Jaén related to the following sport activities: Volleyball, Basketball and Track & Fields for one or two semesters with a subsidy of 1,800 euros for the duration of the stay (approx. 2,000 US dollars). ÌýThe student should join one of the aforementioned University of Jaén sport teams.
Baden-Württemberg Scholarship (Germany) Accordion Closed

Fellowship and Research Scholarships
Rhodes Scholars Accordion Closed
The Rhodes Scholarships, the oldest international fellowships, were initiated after the death of Cecil Rhodes in 1902, and bring outstanding students from many countries around the world to the University of Oxford. The first American Scholars entered Oxford in 1904.Ìý All educational costs, such as matriculation, tuition, laboratory and certain other fees, are paid on the Scholar’s behalf by the Rhodes Trustees. Each Scholar receives in addition a maintenance allowance adequate to meet necessary expenses for term-time and vacations. The Rhodes Trustees cover the necessary costs of travel to and from Oxford.

The George J. Mitchell Postgraduate Scholarship Accordion Closed
The George J. Mitchell Scholarship is a national competitive fellowship sponsored by the US-Ireland Alliance. Twelve Mitchell Scholars between the ages of 18 and 30 are chosen annually for one year of postgraduate study in any discipline offered by institutions of higher learning in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Applicants are judged on three criteria: academic excellence, leadership, and a sustained commitment to service and community. Marshall Scholarship Accordion Closed
The Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a graduate degree in the United Kingdom. Up to forty Scholars are selected each year to study at graduate level at an UK institution in any field of study. There is no age restriction on the Marshall Scholarships but you must have graduated from your first undergraduate degree after April 2016. The Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission promotes an equal opportunities policy. Scholarship awards are based on merit following a fair and transparent selection process. The Marshall Commission seeks and recruits students from all backgrounds.

Gates Cambridge Scholarship Accordion Closed
The Gates Cambridge Scholarship program was established in October 2000 by a donation of $210 million from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to the University of Cambridge. They offer 90 full-cost scholarships each year to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge. Scholars pursue the full range of subjects available at the University and are spread across its departments and Colleges.

ThinkSwiss Research Scholarship Accordion Closed
Undergraduate and graduate students wanting to do research at a public Swiss university or research institute for 2 to 3 months can apply for our ThinkSwiss research scholarship. This program provides a monthly scholarship of CHF 1,600 (approx. USD 1,600) for a period of 2 to 3 months (CHF 4,800 maximum), which covers only a portion of the average student’s living costs. The scholarship is open to students of all fields.

The writing center is committed to providing students with personalized writing instruction. They focus on making you a better writer rather than just trying to catch little spelling and grammar errors. When you come to the Writing Center, bring your scholarship essay and the prompt questions. At your appointment, your tutor will look at your progress and help you in moving onto the next step in producing a strong piece of writing.
