Students will be housed together either near or on the NAU campus. Travel to\/ from Northern Arizona University, meals, books, and incidental expenses are not included.<\/p>\n<p>Students with entitlement funds will have to create a Consortium Agreement between their home institution and NAU to confirm that they are applying for federal financial aid from only one school.<\/p>\n<p>Arizona university employee discount and waivers, Lumberjack, Blue, and Gold scholarships cannot be applied to the cost of GCS.<\/p>\n<h2>Scholarships &amp; Financial Aid<\/h2>\n<p>Apply for\u00a0scholarships and financial aid\u00a0using this <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1f_EYb9M6wwWi3jqxNxKiYXCr0z1EDnFe5bSMG0yTnLk\/viewform?c=0&amp;w=1&amp;usp=mail_form_link\">online form<\/a>. You will want to have the breakdown for the cost of attendance at your home institution before you complete this form.<\/p>\n<p>*Insurance is required for students who cannot provide proof of existing insurance.<\/p>\n<h2>Program Cost Breakdown<\/h2>\n<p>The Grand Canyon Semester program fee ($10,261) covers the cost of Northern Arizona University tuition, housing, Colorado River trip, lodging\/transportation during overnight field trips, and some food in the field. Students are responsible for purchasing their own food while on campus and during day trips.
