Priority Admissions Pathways for NAU Undergraduates
BS in Exercise Physiology Accordion Closed
NAU OTD program offers priority consideration for admission to graduates of the BS in Exercise Physiology program at NAU. Undergraduate students who qualify for priority consideration for admission are guaranteed an interview pending verification of required credentials during the admission process.
*Qualifying for a guaranteed interview may not result in guaranteed admission. During the interview, students must express an appropriate rationale for the profession of occupational therapy and demonstrate the interpersonal and communication skills necessary for the study and practice of occupational therapy as expected of other candidates.
The OTD program reserves 10% of the incoming cohort for NAU Exercise Physiology graduates who meet the guaranteed interview criteria and interview successfully. If there are not enough NAU Exercise Physiology graduates to fill these positions in an admission cycle, they will be released to other qualified applicants.ÌýÌý

Transfer pathways for Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA)
BS in Health Sciences in Allied Health Accordion Closed
If you are a current or prior occupational therapy assistant (OTA) student from a regionally-accredited community college or university, you can complete your bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences – Allied Health through Northern Arizona University in order to meet admissions requirements for the OTD program. This is a 90/30 degree completion program, which means that students are able to transfer in up to 90 credits from a regionally-accredited program outside of Northern Arizona University. Then, complete the remaining 30 upper-division credits (10 courses) to finish your degree.ÌýÌý

NAU OT + ASU Partnership
The NAU OT Program will guarantee acceptance for up to 12 students annually from ASU’s College of Health Solutions who meet admission requirements and prerequisite courses. If the 12-student cap is met, additional students will be accepted based on standard admission procedures.
