Each year more than 1,000 NAU students come together to share their creative discoveries and present in-depth research and scholarly work at the Undergraduate Symposium. It truly is a celebration of student achievement and a wonderful demonstration of how NAU is elevating excellence. The Symposium is a showcase of the diversity and talents of our students and often includes unique presentations ranging from live painting exhibitions and cooking demonstrations to engineering feats and innovative business solutions.
Over 3,500 people, including faculty, staff, students, and community members, attend the Undergraduate Symposium to engage in thoughtful discussions with students about their work. Your attendance at this event shows support for the hard work our students put into their research and creative works for months, sometimes years. It also provides an invaluable learning experience for those who are presenting for the first time and it gives them the opportunity to practice their communication skills and learn from the questions asked about their work.

Not only is your attendance beneficial to our presenters, but it can also be a rewarding experience for you. Our goal is to provide feedback to every student who presents at the Undergraduate Symposium. With over 600 unique presentations, this cannot be accomplished without the help of people like you. Please consider providing feedback by to students at one of the sessions. No experience or expertise is required! We will provide you with all of the information needed to provide constructive feedback to our student presenters.
